The second conference on Responsible Tourism: from 30/09 to 03/10/2009 in the central region
Achieving a sustainable tourism development model, more respectful of nature, people and heritage, requires constant debate and cooperation of all actors involved. In this spirit, the second conference on Responsible Tourism invites you to a day of reflection and exchange preceded by visits of tourist projects Regional Innovation Centre.
September 30 to October 2: The Caravan Centre LoireUne solidarity event unprecedented in the region: it brings together a group of about thirty of tourism professionals from various backgrounds. Participants will depart by bus for two days of field visits in the Centre region. Objectives: To discover innovative projects in the matter of responsible tourism and share their own experiences.
October 2: special evening Solidarity tourism and sustainable development.

20th Anniversary Contest International Ice Sculpture of 21 to 23 January 2011.
Valloire, Station Jean-Baptiste Grange, French is the only station to organize an international competition of this type.Pour planetary rendezvous, the artists come from around the globe: Germany, Thailand, Spain, Russia, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Canada etc. France will be as it was represented by a dozen sculptors. 8 nationalities and almost 20 sculptors are expected this year.
The secret of the artists? The art of handling rasps, trowels and shovels with dexterity, cutting, chiseling blocks of 50m3 and 4 meters high. Straight out of Canada, the art of ice carving then demand precision and endurance!
